Waldvogelnews, Mother & Nico, End of Term, Holiday

Dearfriends,

How areyou?

Finally another "sign of life" from us!

Thank you for your prayers & your perseverance – it makes all the difference!!

The School term draws to a close and we are off for our anual holiday to the seaside of  Fishhook/South-Africa.

We had a lot on with teaching, preaching, ladies bible study and the boys. A few illnesses have kept us bussy and of course my OP.

All this is history and we are praising God for all his faithfulness &  carying us through it!

We will be in the beautiful Cape for 2,5 weeks and are so looking forward to have a break & family time!

The school trip with the two grade sixes was truely and cultural experience . We slept in the police cottage ! Down at the huge "Kariba" dam. There I was able to do some devotions, show Christian videos & have good chats to the children & teachers. David also enjoyed it and we had some father – son bonding.

It was especially encouraging to meet a now 20 year old joung man- Stanley there...He was one of the boys who went to our bible adventure club 9 years ago. What a joy to see him still faithfully & on fire for the Lord. He still knew on of our memory verse from 1Tim 4:16 and he said, he had been watching his life and doctrine closely. Unlike some of his school mates who were on the drink & leading crocked lives. That really touched our hearts and we praise God for his goodness!!! It makes the whole stay here worth while to get feedback like that!!! God is great!!! He loves to save & guide +bring us to our full potential!!!

Please pray for a rich harvest!

Please continue to pray for my (Martin's) mum! Her fractured arm (through a cancer cell) has been treated in hospital and she's home again, but is still getting radiation therapy. Pray, that she will be able to stand it all & that God will continue to help her through.  Please also pray for my dad, who is finding it all very difficult, especially since he has not got the peace of God in him. Continue to bring my sisters before the Lord too.

Nico, my nephew was quite stable after his brain trauma, but suffered an epileptic fit. Since then he had to have his skull opened 5 times to remove liquid. He needs your prayer too, to find Jesus in his suffering!

The boys are very well. This week Joshua did his first steps – with a huge proud and happy smile on his face!

David played a funny bear in his Christmasplay at Pre-school. In January he will be in the big class already!

With all our heart we wish you a happy & blessed pre- Christmas Sea with  Jer 6:16,

Your 4 Waldvogels (-teers )

Waldvogelupdate, Ministry with schools, Martin' mum & nephew with pic of bathing boisterous boys

Dear friends,

we greet you in the name of our precious Lord Jesus Christ !

So grateful that Martin's OP went well – I'm nearly 100%!

My first chapel devotional I did a week after the op table. Then Sunday evening I was able to do the true love waits campagne at "my" Watershed College. It was such a privilege & blessings!!To be able to give young people positive and godly direction for their relationships & sexuality (abstinence & faithfulness). Though I had to take most of it "sitting down", since the circulation was not up to scratch yet.

Thankfully Pam Stenzil did about half of the talking on her DVD "Sex still has a price tag". Very good material!

This week I've been able to be in some of the school again. Its exams time so most were busy writing. Please pray for the boys & girls to do well in their exams & also that the Bible lessons will bring eternal fruit.

This Tuesday – Friday David & I will join a school trip with Godrey Huggins Primary School the one where I do a good chunk of my Bible & Life Skills lessons. We are off to Kariba (huge dam about 5 hours from here). It's a privilege to go along and be able to get to know pupils & teachers better & also do a spiritual program. Please pray for blessings, good conversations & devotionals & that David will enjoy it to. Please pray for Silke to have strength to run the show with Joshua & enjoy spending some time with her ladies. She's seeing quite a bit of them & lead the last two biblestudies on revelation – powerful stuff!!

My mother had a broken arm because of cancer cells. The op went well; please pray for strength & God's help through this time for her, my father & sisters.

My nephew Nicolas in Cologne had some setbacks. He has an epileptic fit and 3 further operation to remove liquid from his brain. Please pray for God's help + healing and that Nico & my sisters will experience God as they started to do already.

David & Josh are growing like weeds and given us a lot of joy (and work)

Thank you for being behind us & praying for us!

With John 10:10

Your 4 Waldvogels
