Dear friends,
How are you?
We have returned from South-Africa on Saturday. The Lord gave us a great holiday, time with him and one another. We were able to see some friends and colleagues and especially the boys enjoyed the beach !!
Last night we have heard that my mother is not doing well. The cancer cells have spread and she actually lost consciousness Saturday. Thankfully she regained some of it again yesterday so that I was able to say farewell and thank her on the phone.
Now we are working at getting to Germany as soon as possible. Please pray that God pleasing we might make it before her final departure to glory. Please pray for the whole family especially my parents + my sisters, for strength and encounters with God & his help.
Please pray to, that we'll be able to get flights so spontaneously (if possible not five times the price...) & that David & Joshua will manage the sudden changes & travels. Thanks for praying for all the practicalities.
God is in control – my mother said that Jesus is waiting for her with arms stretched out wide! She is comforted & looks forward to go to him. For God death is not a "period", but a "double point". Our live does not end with death if we know Jesus but it only just begins!!!
Praise God for Christmas, He has come to bring us life & to redeem us!!
