Waldvogelnews, Mother & Nico, End of Term, Holiday

Dearfriends,

How areyou?

Finally another "sign of life" from us!

Thank you for your prayers & your perseverance – it makes all the difference!!

The School term draws to a close and we are off for our anual holiday to the seaside of  Fishhook/South-Africa.

We had a lot on with teaching, preaching, ladies bible study and the boys. A few illnesses have kept us bussy and of course my OP.

All this is history and we are praising God for all his faithfulness &  carying us through it!

We will be in the beautiful Cape for 2,5 weeks and are so looking forward to have a break & family time!

The school trip with the two grade sixes was truely and cultural experience . We slept in the police cottage ! Down at the huge "Kariba" dam. There I was able to do some devotions, show Christian videos & have good chats to the children & teachers. David also enjoyed it and we had some father – son bonding.

It was especially encouraging to meet a now 20 year old joung man- Stanley there...He was one of the boys who went to our bible adventure club 9 years ago. What a joy to see him still faithfully & on fire for the Lord. He still knew on of our memory verse from 1Tim 4:16 and he said, he had been watching his life and doctrine closely. Unlike some of his school mates who were on the drink & leading crocked lives. That really touched our hearts and we praise God for his goodness!!! It makes the whole stay here worth while to get feedback like that!!! God is great!!! He loves to save & guide +bring us to our full potential!!!

Please pray for a rich harvest!

Please continue to pray for my (Martin's) mum! Her fractured arm (through a cancer cell) has been treated in hospital and she's home again, but is still getting radiation therapy. Pray, that she will be able to stand it all & that God will continue to help her through.  Please also pray for my dad, who is finding it all very difficult, especially since he has not got the peace of God in him. Continue to bring my sisters before the Lord too.

Nico, my nephew was quite stable after his brain trauma, but suffered an epileptic fit. Since then he had to have his skull opened 5 times to remove liquid. He needs your prayer too, to find Jesus in his suffering!

The boys are very well. This week Joshua did his first steps – with a huge proud and happy smile on his face!

David played a funny bear in his Christmasplay at Pre-school. In January he will be in the big class already!

With all our heart we wish you a happy & blessed pre- Christmas Sea with  Jer 6:16,

Your 4 Waldvogels (-teers )
